Comment: our soda feldspar has a lot of silica
try it as it is if it does not work send me the name of the kind of soda feldspar on you
hand and will adjust you.
9 of the whiting ( Calcium Carbonate) replaces the original barium. Therefor the glaze
a bit whitening the ware. if you want it nicer replace that amount of 9 whiting with 7
strontium carbonate
In http://members4.clubphoto.com/ababi306910/679354/
You can see variations on this glaze
This is another glaze of Marty Anderson

Now I offer you the best test:
Take a kitchen sieve
Using dry soil. You can break the soil by warming to 100C than with a mixer on
electric drill. Sieve it as small as possible but do not try hard 9 give it to the kids but
do not give them my address!
to each batch of 75 sieved soil add 25 flux can use Zinc, Soda ash, sodium
bicarbonate, borax, GB, whiting, cement Portland ( grey ) wood ash and by itself.
You can add colorant perhaps 1 -3 copper oxide that is a flux by itself. The kids will
learn more about they homeland!
