thanks for the input. At Dannon Rhudy's suggestion, I used the garden
sprayer and it worked like a a charm. The scuptures are in the kiln now and
I'll report on the garden sprayer's effectiveness tomorrow. I had thought of
using it before the suggestion, but assumed that it would get plugged up. It
did, but there's a small cone-shaped plastic filter in the wand that I
removed and, voila!, no more stoppage.
