Dear Pat Southwood,

One of the most interesting and effective ways I have seen was used by a =
lady. She embraced the clay so that her hands were on the opposite side =
of the pug to her body. Then she, as I recall, linked her fingers and =
Pulled the clay towards her. Very quick, very effective.

Now, when you think about it as a method, it puts into tension all of =
those parts of the body which other methods put into compression. So it =
relieves strains rather than imposing them on delicate joints.
