In researching a substitute for Pemco frit 283, I have found several;
however, I can't find a supplier for any of them. Does anyone know where I
can get Bayer J-239-P or any of the other substitutes: General frit 106,
Ferro 3293, or Fusion F-413?

Thanks so mu

Hi! Bailey at 1-800-431-6067 lists P 283 as a substitute for GF 106! As
you do not say whether you want to give up P 283 or think you have to, this
may help. Also: seem to recall that I spoke to them about some Fusion frits
a couple of years ago and they could/would get. They are lovely people, and
very helpful.

Fusion Ceramics is an excellent supplier of frits and - as far as I know
they supply analysis for all of them - they are in Carrollton OH, 44851
Phone 330-627-5821
Fax 330-627-2082
Ask em for suppiers in your area.

Laguna says they sometimes have Fusion frits in stock and tthey will
special order them as well.
