I just got my new heavy duty '7' from Phil at Bison tools today, and it is
wonderful. I have a couple of the standard tools and they very bit as
wonderful as others have recorded on Clayart: sharp and indispensable.
(and yes, fragile- my golden retriever pup grabbed one off my trimming cart
a while back and ran around the studio with it. She missed the catch the
second time she tossed it and the blade shattered on the concrete floor)
This is my first sample of the new heavier prototypes with the thicker
blades, and they are just what is needed for the larger pot/bigger job.

Only trouble is, now I'm wanting more - more of the miniatures, more of the
standard and more of the heavy duty.
All in good time - I think I'll have to send this message to my family as
well as Clayart!

Where does one get Bison tools?
I am interested - they sound like they work by themselves:)
