The "Convention Center" is a large complex in downtown San Diego, but it is
not where the NCECA CONVENTION will be held. THere was a post which mistook
the two.
The NCECA Convention will be held, as Stephanie pointed out, at the Town and
Country Hotel on Hotel Circle.

It's a lovely place...I worked as a bell boy there for a couple months last
summer. There are also many close by hotels that a few bucks in a taxi will
cover.
