I am wondering if anyone has tried to carve out a two piece IFB brick
combustion chamber and Venturi constriction rather than using a
traditional burner?
Would the pressures in a 11" wc to 5 psi stream be too much for this
or would casting it out of a refractory castable (mizzou?) be better.
I was thinking of a standard 3/4" pipe coupling being the only steel
part of the device. The Venturi Constriction would have partial
rifling (spirals in the brick) to induce turbulance.
