i want to make sure many of you out there
know that mike norman is a quality potter,
my age, is one of minnesota'a top
potters, and does a great deal of testing.
he is smart, knows what he is doing, and
is a leader in glaze testing. he won't eat it.
i have fired hundreds of his test tiles in my
kiln. he is one of the few people in the
world i would want to be a part of my firings.
so, if he is making lead glazes, he is careful,
clean, well organized.
in fact...i have about 40lbs of lead, i think
i will ask him to take it and make glaze.
he does a great many sculptural pieces, full
of bright color.
