cream breaking red glaze

I did some pieces with Cream Breaking Red Glaze (Tom Buck's revised). This
is a beautiful glaze but I rubbed a magic marker on it and rubbed off with
alcohol and noticed craze lines. I used it on Highwater Speckled Brownstone
clay. So bummer... What do I do now? Try to fix it? Or start over with a
million more tests to find something I like? I still don't trust myself to
accurately do all the material juggling in the glaze calc. programs. I want
a warm cream-white colored glaze that is stable. Can someone help me fix the
crazing or suggest another glaze?

Thanks,

Melinda, in my tests this glaze does not break red on the rims or textured
areas, but at the very bottom of the glaze there is a really nice rust line,
almost like a "shadow". The color is very appealing to me as it is a very
warm white and has a smooth waxy feel. It did pinhole on a plate however,
but on the inside of mugs it was nice. Hope someone can help me fix this
glaze. Charles I will try the 5x20 with zir 10...thanks.
