Randy,
When in D.C. make an appointment with the Freer Museum to see the Freer
Collection that is in the archives. You can see some great pottery just
going through the regular museum, but to be taken down stairs and shown any
piece you see through the locked glass cases. They will remove it from the
case and make it available to be inspected by you. It is on the Mall. And a
highlight of my visit there.
