Years ago I tried a drill operated mixer. It was an experience all right.
The threaded rod bent in use like a fishing rod, the thing whipped up a
storm, it was unbelievably hard to hold on to the drill, etc.
A neighbor suggested a slow but powerful motor. It is extremely slow and
extremely strong. It served me well. A place that sells motors will know
what I am talking about. Right now I am building a stand for it, the
previous having worn out.
