Those of us who do not believe in God would never say , and should never
say ,that those who do believe are mindless sheep, devoid of individual
capacity to love and therefore behave properly to their human
counterparts.
We have many examples of believers who do terrible things to other people
in their "righteousness"..Taliban, Nazis, Inquisitionists, Romans
throwing Christians to the lions.etc etc ..
.There is great danger in fundamentalist ideologies, no matter what their
belief system is and it is really important to remember that one does not
have to believe in a god to be charitable, loving, or ethical or truly
humane.
It is almost like saying that using Mother in Law blue cancels your
validity as a potter.
