Here is one of Richard Peelers Cone 10 white glazes. It can fired in
reduction or oxidation. This is one they used a lot. There a lot more
whites and also a quite a few celadons and copper reds.

I am wading through his notebook and trying to get them all compiled. I
have had some people write and ask if I could post his
"Bronze Glory" glaze. I talked with Marj Peeler yesterday and we are
trying to dig it up. Some of their favorites I will post on here and the
bulk of them I will just put on my website.
It has been neat to find personal notes from W. McKenzie, Karl Martz and
Vivika Hieno in the book. He also has some notes from the Potters he
filmed in Japan during the making of "Potters of Japan." Mrs. Peeler
has donated many of the pots he acquired there to permanent collections
and she is thrilled that the Smithsonian Institute has taken a pot given
to Richard by Mr. Shimoka. (Sorry about the spelling if I got it wrong.)
Look for some of Marj's articles in PMI. She told me to pass on that she
is not doing any high fire work because their kiln suffers "burn out".
(She still has her sense of humor)
