First, thanks to Dai for the belly laugh (pun intended)
I guess I had assumed (and I know I shouldn't) that using a spray paint
meant to cover rust would be enough.
I will head to the local Home Depot on my next pay day and check out what
they have. Along with your suggestions and theirs I am bound to find a
solution.
