waxy white #2 talc 1.34 not 11.34

I am so sorry.....I put Talc at 11.34 instead of 1.34 It is right in
front of me here on the paper. You were right there was something wrong.
But I was not wrong about Barium being toxic. Especially in its raw
form....super toxic. Even if the Geil Kiln ad has a quote on page #8 of
the Oct. C.M. in the bottom right corner that says "Barium gets such bad
press". Sounds like Barium has hired a spin doctor.

Anyway the new one RR reworked is probably better...I am going to try
it.

F 3134 - 22.5
Custer - 7.5
Wollas - 23.0
Talc - 1.5
EPK - 27.5
Silica - 18.0
Total - 100.0

Good grief - found myself running my own glaze through the calculator to
see if it was OK - the world was upside down for a moment - the first
one
looks fine but the second adds to 110.44 so I am thinking there is
something wrong.

Potter Wagoner,

I read your earlier messages on your white glaze, but have forgotten to what
cone you are firing Ron Roy's revision (below)?

This looks like it had a very good chance of being a stable glaze - if it's
melted well. Try 5% copper carb in it and send a cup to a testing lab and
ask them to tell you how much copper leaches out of it with the standard
acid test. Then you will know for sure.
