I think he must be. (sorry Craig, missed the reply from you directly). As
I said before, I got mine in '96 and it's VERY easy to put together/take
apart. WAAAAY easier than any Brent I ever used. To reassemble, put the
back piece on and slide towards tummy. Put the front piece on and hook over
back piece. Slide the whole thing back into place. :)

L, I did not say that it was difficult or tricky to take apart. I said
and stand by my statement that it is tricky to reassemble. It certainly does
not go together as easily as the other splash pans that I have taken off and
put back on their respective wheels. THese include Shimpo, Brent, and the
partial pan of the power assisted Lockerbies.

Is it possible that you're referring to an older Pacifica ? Mine is about
2 yrs old and the splash pan is extremely easy to reassemble. Much easier
than Brents I've used. The Brent splash pan is much heavier however and I
would expect it to last longer.

This is funny Craig. I am a Pacifica user who is currently borrowing and
old Shimpo... and for the life of me I *can't* get the splash pan back on
and off with that one!

It's a humbling moment. In fact I'm going to go search the archives for
tips right now. Thanks for the reminder.

L, yes it is possible. I've owned two, as I said I think they are the
most bang for the buck. The one I have now I purchased sometime back in 95.
Don't know when it was made. For the record, I am not saying it is impossible
to take apart. It's just a little tricky. This is the end o this one for me.
I like the wheel!
Thanx
