Hello All,
Recently I made a set of quick change aluminum wheelheads
for my Pacifica. I use them instead of bats. On & off in 10 secs.
I asked some people in the studio for their opinion.
Some liked it. Some didn't.
I guess some people prefer the more traditional aproach.
Some potters have come up with some great ideas to expand on this.
I would appreciate opinions and or ideas.
Ceramics is one of my hobbies.I took a class last year after 9/11
just to keep my mind occupied.
Now I'm hooked!
Do you believe there is a market for Wheelheads and tooling to make certain
tasks easier?.
I hav'nt done a cost analysis or anything. I just wanted opinions.
Thanks:

Hey Phil;

Now there's an idea I had not thought of before. You could
have a ring of clay on one for attaching bats, and revert to the
regular wheelhead for work off the hump, or........ I would love to
see what you have created. Email me a pic or two....I could have used
this today, instead of using my second wheel.

Cheers, Hank in Eugene

sounds like a simple ejector head and plaster bats would be simpler and more
cost effective, and give the same results...

Dang it, East Texas missed any rain from Izzy...
