i went to linda blossoms workshop last weekend at livingtree
gallery and studio owned my lisa skeen.. a great time was had by
all.. we all learned a lot from linda, and then at the end of the day we all made lisa a tile surround for her gallery window.. so if you make it there
go check it out..
i have been to several of lisa's workshops and i would recommend going to her place anytime.. she makes everyone welcome.. and serves great food! ( and drink)
we had a great bonding session..theres something to potters getting
together and partying. linda and i taught one of the potters there who shall remain nameless on how to get globes and make molds for your sinks! we had one to many glasses of wine.. good thing they didnt have their motorcycles with them.. or we might not have gotten linda back to lisa's..
i just would like to add that every time i go to north carolina i make more friends there.. i now have more friends in nc than i do in ga.. so if lisa posts that she is doing a workshop at her place i would recommend you to take the chance and go.. its a great place for learning!
