Dear Vince,

Winkle picker shoes (remember them?) were a deformed cone. Stirrup =
bottles are of the same ilk as a drinking Rhyton, so are Horns.

Heikki Seppa, "Form Emphasis...", gives a good analysis of general =
forms. Partially fitting the description of a narrow footed vessel are: =
Domical, though in the case of thrown pot it might be Inverted Domical, =
then there is Prolate Spheroid.

Oppi Untracht (Jewelry: Concepts and Technology)also gives an as an =
appendix an excellent visual glossary of Form.=20

Best regards,

Ivor
