Karen,

I happen to have a Good kiln. I bought it second hand and do all of my
bisquing in it. It is a perfectly adequate hobby type kiln but hard to buy
shelves for since it is an odd size. However I was able to get shelves for
it through Lou Davis Wholesalers. They also sell the kiln under the name
Sugar Creek.

Best,

Debby Grant in NH

I have bought several of their products, mostly slip tables and pumps.
The equipment that I purchased is very well made with quality materials.
I looked over their kilns at a mold show in Wisconson a few months ago
and talked to the owner of the company. The kilns seemed to be well
constructed. Nothing fancy, but well made and the prices that I saw were
very reasonable. They are on my short list for my next kiln.

Karen,

Yes, I've got a "Good" kiln myself. The company was bought by Sugar Creek
Co. a number of years ago as I recall. I've been to their shop - a short
drive from me. They were extremely helpful in helping me obtain some
replacement parts and gave me a tour of the place while we were there. I've
been very happy with the kiln though it's an old one and fairly small. You
can find their website at:

Hello Karen,

I have a Good Kiln that I bought 4 years ago and have had good performance
with it. I'm not sure how old it is, but it was in good shape when I got it.
I understand that Good Mfg. has been out of business for some years now. The
only complaint I have about my Good Kiln is that the elements are a pain in
the behind to change. They are very difficult to access through the control
box so it makes them hard to hook up.
