The suggestion was to do this with oxide washes
(or other non-vitreous finishes). If you do this
with glazed beads, you will have kilnwash stuck
to the down-side of each bead, and if they are
piled up (or roll around), they will stick to each
other. If they're glazed, they gotta be off the
shelf. (Unless you want flat white dots on each
one.)
