I have had wonderful experience with companies who sell just elements. They
advertize, I know, in Ceramics Monthly. They seem to have endless info
about now-extinct companies which made kilns, and also are good about
general element info.

Again--only in my limied experience--replacement elements from the
manufacturer come with excellent instructions.

However. Do check the switch as well while you are at it!!! I once went to
huge trouble to replace and element and then found that where it connected
to the switch everything was corroded by heat, so I had to redo, thereby
losing some of the element pigtail.

Good luck.
