Thanks to all who have replied so far, I'll give a little update.

Gayle
I spent about 2 hrs. on the phone with L&L tech service today with my
electrician by my side. (talked with gentleman named Ralph) The kiln was
firing, we checked every possible voltage, amps and ohms all checked OK.
They don't know what the problem is or what to do, because all things
checked out as being fine. He even called Dyna-trol and they don't think it
is in the controller. So what is the problem you ask I don't know and
neither do they. All I do know Is I do not want to buy another set of
elements in such a short time and I'm getting tired of 12 hr firings that
don't complete. I'm not trying to slam L&L they are trying to get me answers
but in the mean time this is getting to be an expensive hobby!!!!!!

Curt

Yes the kiln is hard wired. Thanks for asking though.

Arnold

The voltage and amps were checked and all were fine.
As far as contaminants go, I don't know of any thing that I am using out of
the every day ingredients in my glazes and have not had any explosions in
bisque. It's getting old only getting 12 to18 firings on a set of
elements!!!

Margorie

There probably several of us having strange problems. I'll solve this one
soon or I'll own another brand of kiln!!!!!

Try a continuity test, on the elements, and while you are doing it, reach
in the kiln and wiggle the elements around a lot. Run your finger tip down
the coils kinda hard. You'll probably have to isolate each element to do
this. You might have a break in one of the elements. Maybe at certain times
during the firing, the broken element separates and generates an error.

Alternate: leave a plate of cookies by the kiln and see if the kiln elves
might fix it.....

Good luck!

Gene, have you seen discoloration around any of the element
connectors?
