Thank you Palmer & all for wonderful suggestions.

I will try to get to The National Museum of History in Beijing. Also I made
an appointment at the Nezu & Goto Art Museum in Tokyo, made a plan to visit
to the Raku Museum in Kyoto for a special exhibit along with a few kilns in
Kyoto.
I will visit a few kilns in Hagi( my favorite pottery). I am hoping to
visit to Mashiko more than once because it's 15 minutes away from my parents
home in Utsunomiya. Kasama( older pottery town than Mashiko) is also near my
parents birth place. I am obliged to visit their ancestors' cemetery to pay
respect every time I return home.

>Aiko - I visited Beijing for two weeks in July.  The National Museum
of History, located on the side of Tiananmen Square, had a wonderful
exhibit on Ancient Chinese Art with lots of pottery.  It was
wonderful!!  I don't know if it was a temporary or permanent
exhibit.  And of course don't miss the Great Wall.  Have a great
timeCarol  - Palmer, Alaska - It's on the mountains but no snow yet!<
