Fall Weekend Classes:
October 25-27, 2002

Arrowmont says there are still spaces available in my upcoming workshop to
discuss surface decoration on pottery. They're doing some new weekend workshops
this fall. We won't be making pots, but will be looking at slides as well as
pottery, doing a lot of discussion and sketching to research effective use of
suface on pottery forms. In hands-on workshops we never seem to have enough
time to do this. Anyone interested, please contact Arrowmont:

Linda Arbuckle—Ceramic Artist—studio artist, Professor, Ceramics, University of
Florida School of Art and Art History, Micanopy, FL

Investigate form and surface relationships through research, discussions and
sharing visions. Develop strategies and expand thinking without making pottery.
Drawing from resources in Arrowmont’s library, discuss works historic and
contemporary, do “pot on the spot” discussions with works brought from home,
and use sketching strategies to work on extending thinking on form and surface
interactions.
Skill level: Intermediate to advanced - Tuition: $150
