alpine potters wheel - pedal pooped out...

Dear Roger,

It may just need to be taken apart and inspected for a
needed cleaning, or to tighten some loose Wire, loose
connection or other of simple fix as you could do.

Make sure you un-plug the Wheel first, and then take the
controller apart, and see what may look amiss...

Might be an 'easy' fix...if not, you can then see about a
new one, 'parts', or to send it out to someone who can
repair it.

Anyway...just that thought...and a general one, as I do not
have an Alpine of Wheel, but have played with Rheostats and
similar to get them working again...

Subject: Alpine potters wheel

I have an Alpine wheel that is over 20 years old ant the
speed controller has quit working. Does anyone know where I
can find replacement parts or, if not, can another foot
controller from another wheel work? It has a 1/2 hp DC
motor. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Roger
