Glaze Materials Workshop - Introduction, Sat. Oct 19th and 26th.
This 2 day workshop is geared towards the beginner and prepares students =
for the Glaze Theory Course, using INSIGHT that will be offered in the =
Spring of 2003. =20
It covers the basics of glaze formulation, glaze materials, and =
terminology. Hands on experience covers weighing, mixing, and testing =
glazes, and examining the results. Glaze composition, faults, causes =
and cures as well as Unity and Limit formulas are discussed.
The workshop takes place at Mohawk College, Stoney Creek Campus. =
