kiln repair needed????? (steel base)

I have never tried using a stop sign as a steel base for a kiln.
But I doubt if you would have a problem using one. Paragon has used
galvanized steel under the kilns ever since I started working here.

The reason I think every kiln should have a sheet of steel under it
is that if the brick bottom fell out, it would be a fire hazard.
And the steel base doesn't cost that much to add.
