Having agreed wholeheartily with Vince's "statements"
I would continue to support that opinion...practically speaking.

In an absolute terms I must acknowledge that Janet is right.
Not everyone is capable of an artist's statement..

What came to mind was a memory of a talk show..Phil Donahue
I was in my teens still probably and they were doing a topic on
gifted but otherwise "disabled" individuals..

I only recall the "sculptor"...
he was "autistic" or something...
did not speak a word,
his mother did all the talking..
just sat there with a blissful smile
and let his hands work a beautiful horse from clay.
He did exclusively animals.

Though I do not recall the other talents
I can still see his face and smile
as he worked passionately with the clay.

I have no doubt he did not "think" a thought about it..
and a statement written or verbalized was out of question.

But I think this to be the rare exception.
