I think you're right, Don. Possibly it
struck me as more literary or mythical than religious ..
but then that could be said of much
religious commentary, couldn't it? Either
literary or historical, according to one's
perspective...... or mythical.
Thanks for the reminder. We've had a
lot of odd trivia lately ... and I sincerely
don't want to contribute to the trivialization of Clayart while at
the same time I want to allow some of
the claybuds who seldom have anything to say to have an opportunity to =
do so .... it's
good to receive directly another clayarter's perspective.
Best regards.

Joyce,
No, there is no place here for political or religious 'ads' that seek to
change others.
But please keep the off-subject threads going.......
I have a kiln god that sets atop my kiln watching over my firings.
Religious? Superstitious? Doesn't matter.
The dog hair grew and grew, but now I'm getting some dog hair from
Sheron and will attempt my own brushes which will lead me to a new approach
in decorating pots. This is exciting.
And the spiders...... what wonderful senses of humor. Our ClayArters
are suddenly real people, not just teachers. I'm going to NCECA because now
I "know" these people!
Illnesses? We conquer and move forward.
Then, there is the beauty in the descriptions of members'
surroundings..... the changing seasons, your Mojave that differs from my
Sonora.
Truly, there is no thread that is so trivial that it doesn't lead to
something relevant to clay art.

Two ancient electric kilns. Both outside.
It never rains here at the Mexican border.
One partner, one kid, three cats. All inside.
