Hi, My name is Vicky, and I am a potter working in retail (ick!). I don't
like retail, to say the least, and it's been over a year st this job now,
and I would like to call it quits...IF I can find a job working as a
potter's assistant or apprentice in the general DFW area. I don't have a
degree yet, but that's primarily because I haven't learned how to get
together slides or even take pictures of my work. BUT I have had plenty
of experience putting together glaze recipes and doing multiple tests on
them, and also firing my pieces at cone 10 Reduction, cone 06 Oxidation,
and have also fired pieces in both wood, salt, and Raku kilns (which were
all incredible experiences!). But enough about me. I YOU need or know
anyone who needs an apprentice/assistant within my area, please e-mail me!
Now I just have to pray that someone will read this.
