After only a couple of hours of use, my new Soldner mixer showed rust on some
of the mixer joins. They also painted some of the interior metal pieces with
a blue paint that chipped and left me all these unwanted blue paint chips in
the porcelain. Before I use it again, I'd like to remedy these problems.
Can anyone recommend something to paint on those metal parts to keep the rust
down -- something that won't contaminate the clay; and I could also use a
recommendation for a paint that can take the moisture and the abrasion of the
clay without peeling and getting into the clay.
Regards,
