The trucking company is "Benton". Actually I had 3000# shipped which is the
max for a pallet. The drop charge is $40 rather than the $25 I stated.
Now that I think of it, if you have it delivered to a residential address,
the charge is something like $50 more. Fortunately, I have a commercial
location and save in that way but pay dearly in every other way.:)
If I was within driving distance of David's place, I think I would stop in
too. Lucky you to have coffee with him.
Just yesterday I did another test drive for clay, this time to St.
Petersburg clay. They are now carrying the entire line of Highwater Clays
and I thought it was worth the drive to get samples. What a tiring day
though! No friendly potters to visit on the way.
