Hey folks, This past spring I had a slide accepted into Lark Books =
'500 Bowls' publication
and I=A0seem to recall that I was to recieve a copy of the page my =
bowl was on. My slides were=A0recently
returned=A0and no photocopy was included. I have repeatedly called =
the publisher and get transfered
to the responsible parties=A0voicemail box and get no call back! =
Anyone else having a problem here?--------------
hi, i was also accepted but have not heard a thing since the letter =
of acceptance. i have not contacted them as i thought that this =
was the usual normal slooow rate of publishing. they seem to be a =
reputable company as they have already put out many potterry books. =
so let's keep on waiting and give them the benefit of our doubt.
eleanor arkowitz, tired after cleaning up a big mess. the glaze =
bucket containing floating blue broke and droped out of my hand =
spilling 2 gallons all overr the floor, wall, half shelves, outside =
of kiln, etc, etc. what a mess and what a time cleaning up. the =
upside is i now have the cleanest floor ever, the downside is i =
have to make all the glaze all over again.......

The return of slides for a book come back from Lark Publishers
with no other enclosure. They NEVER send a tear sheet
of the page. The return of slides always precedes at
least a six month wait for the book to hit the big
dealers like Amazon. Then another long wait for your
complimentary copy.
So, use the intervening time to make more bowls or
any other delightful work.
