Someone may have already mentioned this about cleaning dust... but one of our
businesses is a Machine Shop and the guys in the shop use a Sweeping Compound
product called "Cotto-Waxo". Its made up of woodfire sawdust, silica sand,
and a petroleum hydrocarbon industrial oil. You just sprinkle a little of it
on the floor and and it "absorbs and holds down dust while sweeping". It
works really well by dragging the clay dust along with the sawdust product.
It weighs it down so it doesn't become airborne. I think we get it from
Grainger.
