One of my favorite books is "Pottery Form" by Daniel Rhodes.

He uses the human body as a wonderful inspiration for pottery forms.

If you have not seen it check it out as it really good.

Does anyone else have it or recommend it?

I like my handles to look like they "grow" out of the form like the arm
out of the shoulder. Dick Hay always liked a full "breast like" teapot
spout that fills nicely.

We can learn a lot from nature in general when planning and making pots
and sculpture.

Just my view, but the body is not a bad thing....it's just how we use
it.
