The CAA (College Art Association) publishes a guide to
MFA programs. It's not divided up according to medium,
but each school specifies which programs it offers,
including ceramics (or not). Many libraries have this
book in their reference sections.

I have just spent time searching thru the Clayart archives looking to
see if anyone ever made or located a list of which schools offered
Ceramics MFA programs. and had some information about the focus of the
program and the number of teachers. And put this list where it could be
accessed. and why do I think that there is a list on NCECA's site or
ACers Or if I go to the library or Barnes & Noble is there a published
guide? if this guide doesn't exist, perhaps Clayart, NCECA, or the
Potters' Council might be able to set up something and yes, if someone
is willing to make up this data base, I will help.
Millie in Md. Sunshine, crisp fall air. wonderful time to go out and
walk on the beach near the Bay Bridge.
Get out and Vote on Tues---otherwise you loose your right to complain
about democracy.

You can find a book called "Graduate Programs in Arts and Architecture" put out by Peterson's which will give you the programs around the country and their specialities. If you are looking for school in a specific geographic location e-mail me off list and I will look through my guide and send you a list of schools in the area you request. You can probably find them on line and check out their programs as well.

millie, look at
http://www.collegeart.org/caa/publications/directories.html
the caa book lists faculty, # students enrolled, brief description of
facilities and financial aid. for the focus of a program, you would find
more by looking at a school's website and requesting a prospectus.
