If you have the funds, I would recommend going 2 guage, and putting a 100
amp sub out there. I know Home Depot has all that stuff. Plus that gives
you flexibility later, if you want to have power in the garage, or run a
wheel, or maybe another kiln, kiln vent, lights, fan, etc.. About $100 of
less for wire to the box, and about $100 for a box. You have to buy the
conduit, and dig the trench anyway.
