curdle glaze/crawling glazes

Ababi wrote about the large amount of tin in the "curdle glaze". If the tin
and zinc have been added to make the glaze crawl it is a very expensive way
of doing it. Magnesium carbonate is cheaper and will make a glaze crawl very
nicely.

You are right
That was part of the reasons I thought it was a bad way to glaze. On the other hand, If
it sells or give you satisfaction? You can do it. I thought that the huge amount of borax
was the main problem.
Eric explained me what and how he had used the glaze. Might be interesting
To you pat, please visit the glaze pages of my humble site.
The tin or the way I use the zircon gives different character.
The huge amount of magnesia by itself, I mean like 50/50 with another material,
usually is dry and unpleasant to touch

THey glaze doesn't crawl. It is, though, a bit runny.
