bill campbell wrote and reminded me to clarify
that there are some real differences when kilns
are used in a production pottery.
some kilns are made with cheap relays, and wiring
that are not built for heavy production.
he is not pointing fingers right now, but some have
failed, repeatedly.
i agree. and i stand corrected.
my remarks were directed at home potters, doing
average work. those loads are not that severe,
and most kilns will work for years under those conditions.
he, bill, again wants folks to make real tight comparisons.
if you are going to do production, ask around and get
information. yes, there are differences.
