You lucky Berkeley potters, having Leslie's around the corner, not to
mention Claypeople up the road in Richmond. Make the most of it!

Hi, Ned,

Not really so marooned. Where are you?

Here are some Northern California clay places:

IMCO (Industrial Minerals) carries a full line of IMCO clays and quite a few
supplies in Florin, just a few miles south of Sacramento. Website:
www.clayimco.com

In addition, there is N2 Ceramics in Colfax; I have forgotten their web
site. If you find downtown Colfax, you can find N2 Ceramics. While N2 is
not Leslie's, they carry a lot of ceramic supplies (including raw materials
and prepared glazes) and are agents for Laguna.

Closer to my home in Sacramento is Alpha Ceramics (across the freeway from
Mather Field--check the address and phone numbe), mostly hobby stuff, but
with an interesting supply of clays from Laguna and other sources. Also an
agent for Laguna.

Hope this cheers you up.
