Hi Connie- that is how I felt last week when suddenly my Pacific wheel just
stopped. The light was still on, but I knew the motor wasn't running
because there was no hum. Of course I opened the pedal, looked inside and
it looked all right to me. But I wasn't looking carefully enough. The
square magnet inside had come unglued and attached itself to the foot plate,
so at first glance I just thought that's where the magnet was supposed to
be- I didn't realize it was just stuck there. About then my husband came
along and figured it out. Of course he has a lifetime of electrical
experience, but I felt kind of dopey for not having spotted the problem.
