fire ants - now, no natural 'enemies'?

Hmmm...could we not suppose any number of delightful
'Ant-eaters' might become popular as companions, as well
cared for 'Pets' so to speak?

They are charming overall....pleasing to look at, and
friendly enough...

Given how popular the 'Pit Bulls' were...or Scottish
Terriers had been awhile back...it should not be out of the
question...even though, of course the Ant-eaters are not
Canids.

If I lived in some area as was overabundantly 'full' of
Ants...I would look into this option...

Take 'em for walks now and then in the Park...I do not think
they may 'catch' a 'frizbee', but one would find out what
they like to do as other entertainments...

They have strong forelegs and Claws if memory serve...as for
excavating the Ant Hills and all...

Be fun...

As nearly as entomologists can determine, fire ants were
brought
to this country (from South America)by boat, into Mobile,
Alabama.
In the thirties, apparently. They've spread steadily
since. They have
no natural enemies here. Except, of course, me.......
