oxidation, reduction: i am a painter!

.. At least I was.
When I painted landscape I gave the feeling, either my mood or the spirit of the place. I
knew how to "copy" the way some water color painter did, but I hated it. Painted with
a lot of water, the feeling the spirit of the seen: landscape, or woman's face, neck,
shoulders.
These days I am a potter it is a bit more complicated to paint, complicated but filling
the brain with thoughts planing.
I see a wood fired ware. I think to myself: How would I paint my piece like this ( or how
wood I paint my piece like this) Some RIO as oxide brushed into carves? good, partly.
That glaze from last week? Good but too weak!( or two weeks)
To make it glossier? Yes but gently. Will it be wood fired? No no doubt. Will it have the
feeling? I hope do hope!

For the beginner I offer to start with an electric kiln
For the "well done potter" : If you can effort it why not?

When I found out I cannot raku anymore, instead of being sad, I was happy!

I find it very convenient to have this "hard" rule 1220C Within this rule I can play
around.

Matte Crystal Crawling SiC glazes Combinations of some glazes.

Among the letters I get I am mostly flattered by these that ask me if slide a or b is
wood fire. Would I know?
