I currently have a student for 2 months who normally lives in Canada, =
although she travels a lot. She is very interested in continuing =
ceramic work....is there anyone on the list who lives in Calgary, Canada =
area that she could contact about upcoming workshops, etc? She is a =
very interesting wonderful person, and I told her that I would ask =
Clayart, so as to be able to get her in contact with ceramic related =
activities when she gets back home....Melinda Collins, Antigua, =

Red Deer College is about an hour and half north of Calgary. They have a
wonderful clay program, offer many workshop type situations each year and
are connected with the diploma program from the National University in
Australia. Trudy Golley is the clay person there.

There are some great visual art workshops at Red Deer College in the
summer called Series. Check out last years list at Series
.

Janet, thinking I'd better plant my own peanuts and strawberries for my
PBJ, don't want to be a PBJ dabbler

Here's the url for the web site of the Alberta College of Art & Design:
.

Here's an interesting idea - stay with potter and teacher John Chalke and
learn about wood firing: .
