Hey Ivor,
I thought it might be simplier to use cone 4 as the comparison:
K2O 0.3, CaO 0.7, Al2O3 0.4, SiO2 4.0.
Because you don't have to remove any Iron.
Just from another perspective.

Ivor,
You are correct. My mistake. I thought the sequence began with Al2O3
0.4, SiO2 4.0. But I was mistaken. It is cone 4 - Al2O3 0.5, SiO2 4.0.
then cone 5 - Al2O3 0.5, SiO2 5.0, then cone 6 - Al2O3 0.6, SiO2 6.0, etc.
Sorry,
John Britt
