Hmmm... the copper penny luster raku glaze - wasn't it aired some
seasons ago on clayart, with reference to a lawsuit if I recall
aright, that it goes GREEN with time, under reoxidisation? And with
more time, from green it would change to black, if my understanding
of chemistry and the old British copper penny is any guide.
The Incredible Transforming Luster Pots: now you see them - now you don't.
:-(

*Unless.*

Unless you coated your raku lusterware with an anti-oxidant such as
acrylic polymer, to seal the surface from exposure to oxygen.

Um, you did... didn't you?

*Referencing a past clayart post from Marcia:

Ned, who asks to be corrected if wrong on this one.
