I work with cone 05 glazes.I buy them. They are fritted, not raw.I buy the
glaze, not the frit.
Some time ago somebody had a "pudding " problem with a glaze containing
copper carbonate. I dont remember reading an answer, and many a time
answers go privately only to the one who asked.
Maybe its time to understand that we are a bunch of people reading and
sharing some questions and hoping to read an answer that never comes. As I
had same problem and I solved it I want to share with the rest.
There are two ways of settling of the glazes. One is like a rock (feels dry
and hard)and the other is the pudding jelly tipe.
For "the rock one" you have to floculate the glaze adding vinegar or acetic
acid. If you use the acid is a good idea to have it diluted .
For "the pudding one" you have to deffloculate the glaze. What I use is
something named Disperclay
that maybe a brand name for a deffloc.
Remember always to go drip by drip as this needs very small amounts of them.

Hope this helps.
