I was only stating that chemically Strontium and whiting are different.
However it's purpose
in the glaze recipe may be the same. Such as having a high strontium matte
glaze in
exchange for a high calcium matte glaze, both forming crystals and both
giving a matte.
Since no recipe was given, I just mentioned the difference chemically.
You are completely right,
But numbers do matter, especially if colorants are involved.
I think we are talking about the same thing.

A recipe would help in solving that question......
