shimpo wheel parts (rk-2)

Hello,

Does anyone know who or where I can get a drive wheel and belt for my =
Shimpo RK-2? I have and OLD one with too many miles to count. I can't =
seem to adjust the wheel to where I have low speed. When I engage the =
pedal, the wheel automatically goes right into too high a speed. Maybe I =
don't need new parts, just good advice on adjustment. Any help either =
way would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,=20

I found the manual and some other stuff.
I'll scan it tomorrow and get it off to you tomorrow night.

Chris,
Try Shimpo in Itasca, IL. When I had the same problem they sent me a
manual (maybe via e-mail) on how to make those fine adjustments and the
problem was solved. I'll look around and see if I can find the manual
and try to scan it. I'll keep you name on file.

Keep Centered.

Cullen, would you also include me in the information about the RK-2. Mine is
a 1979 vintage and not ready to give up yet. Thanks Bobbie

Hello,

Once again Clayart comes to the rescue. I appreciate all the info you all
always are so happy to share. I love my shimpo wheel and want to give it a
renewed life. In addition to all who answered my request for parts and info,
Shimpo contacted me and gave me part numbers and local dealers.

Thanks again

Hi Good day! You can download Shimpo Manuals through the Internet at
www.shimpoceramics.com. Please click on resources, it will give you a
list of manuals that you can download, you may need to install a free
Acrobat Reader, to open the files up. For the RK2 that's gray in color,
go to RK2-B, for orange RK2-C. For parts you can also locate local
dealers through our link that gives dealer contact information. It
seems that you need a power adjustment, which can be done and descrbed
through the manuals.
